Haunted Pub Crawl
On Matthew’s Haunted Pub Crawl, Galena's #1 storyteller will guide you to 2 or 3 different haunted pubs in the historic downtown Galena. You will hear of the ghosts that may dwell next to you and how they came to reside in Galena. You'll be introduced to some of Galena's rarely heard history and the documented ghost stories and tragedies of the most famous ghost of Galena.
While sitting among your friends and spirits you will hear the historical beginnings of Galena, it’s rise, fall, and how it became one of the most toured cities in Illinois.
On our tour, we will also use ghost equipment to try and connect with local or even close personal spirits.

Matthew’s Haunted Pub Crawl operates year-round, rain or shine - the spirits don’t sleep and neither do we!
Galena’s ghosts don’t require you to drink just spirits. Just because it is a “pub crawl” doesn’t mean you are required to crawl from the drinking of spirits. Many join our tours without the drinking of spirits.! Point meaning that our tour is not about drinking just alcohol as the locations do offer other choices.

In the past, the tour has run later than specified, so please plan accordingly.
We are a walking tour. It is approximately a 5 min walk between each pub and we are at each pub for about 45 min.
The pub locations vary from tour to tour so we don’t give out the locations .
